Waterfront webcams / A Wavebound visibility project
Turn the view outside your business into a reason to visit your website.
An oceanfront room, a harbor-side table, a marina dock. If your business looks out on the water, the view could become a useful part of your website.
One complimentary opening
Wavebound is offering complimentary live-webcam setup to a limited number of waterfront businesses in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach.
The limited number for this offer is exactly one. Applications stay open until that one eligible location is selected.
Wavebound covers the standard camera, setup, and first 90 days of basic hosting and remote support at $0 for the selected business. There is no setup fee and no automatic charge.

Why put a view online?
Start with something people can use.
A webcam is one focused offer within Wavebound’s broader work on local visibility and websites. It should have a clear purpose for the visitor and a sensible connection to your business.
- A useful view, right now
- Let people check the beach, harbor, surf, weather, or marina conditions visible from your location while planning their day.
- A reason to return
- A view that changes through the day can give people a practical reason to revisit your website.
- Something people can share
- A dedicated page gives visitors a simple link to send a friend or reference when talking about the waterfront.
- A useful local resource
- Pair the view with accurate location information and visiting details to make a page that helps people understand the area.
- A natural next step
- Place relevant links near the view, so someone can explore rooms, reserve a table, book a charter or rental, plan a visit, or send an inquiry.
The complimentary setup
From the right location to a working page.
Wavebound covers the following at $0 for the selected business:
- Location review and placement planning
- One standard outdoor-rated fixed-view camera
- Standard surface mounting and installation reachable safely with ordinary ladder access
- Standard installation coordination
- Camera configuration
- A responsive website embed
- Dedicated launch-page setup
- Basic measurement
- 90 days of basic stream hosting
- Remote support during those 90 days
- One standard troubleshooting visit if needed
The business owns the installed camera after launch. There is no setup fee and no automatic charge.
A few practical things to work through.
An eligible location needs a useful public-facing view, written owner or property permission, safe mounting, reliable power and internet, privacy-safe framing, and the ability and permission to add the embed to the business website. We confirm any other necessary permissions and plan the view to avoid private spaces and unnecessary close-ups of people.
The following are client-paid only if needed, and only after a written quote and your approval:
- Electrical or network upgrades
- Lift, scaffold, or roof access
- Permit, HOA, or property fees
- Specialty mounts or cable routes
- Damage or theft replacement
- Premium streaming features
- Hosting and support after day 90
Specialty electrical or network work, unusual mounting, replacement hardware, and recurring third-party streaming costs must be disclosed and approved in writing before they are incurred.
Nothing paid begins without your written approval.
The location review comes first. If the setup does not make practical sense, we will explain why.
After 90 days, you decide.
You can choose an ongoing plan, move the stream to an account or provider you own, or end streaming.
We will discuss any ongoing hosting and support quote before the included 90 days end. There is no automatic enrollment or charge.
A simple way to begin
Three steps to put the view to work.
Check the location
Share your business location and a description of the view. We review whether the setting and basic requirements are a fit.
Plan the setup
Together we confirm placement, permissions, power, connectivity, privacy, and the written scope, including any proposed costs.
Put the view online
We coordinate the agreed installation, configure the camera, add the responsive embed and launch page, and check that everything works.
A useful view can support interest in a place. It does not guarantee search rankings, website traffic, inquiries, bookings, or revenue.
Does your business have a view worth checking?
Tell us where you are and what people can see from your property. We will start with whether the location is a fit.
